Jerry Dempsey // MD Commercial Services
As Managing Director of Greenstar's Commercial Services Division, Jerry is responsible for the delivery of recycling led solutions and managed services to over 15,000 business premises and 80,000 homes nationwide. Jerry is responsible for Group Sales and Marketing, Managed Customer Services, Communications and Regulatory Affairs.
Jerry spent nearly 15 years in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors. He Previously worked with United Drug plc where he had over seven years experience in various General Management and sales and marketing posts, both on a national and international level. In addition Jerry held various Commercial General management and sales and marketing positions of increasing responsibilities within pharmaceutical multinational companies.
Chris Bell // Finance Director
Chris joined Greenstar in January 2003 as Group Financial Controller and was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August 2008. For his first two years in the company, Chris designed and implemented a group-wide ERP system that is now the core of all operational and reporting processes throughout the organisation.
Qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Pannell Kerr Forster in 1989, Chris spent a number of years as the Financial Controller and then the General Manager of a sheet-metal manufacturing company and later 5 years as Finance Director of an electronic engineering company Keytech.
