Two Easy Ways to Pay
1. Pay As You Go Card
No Bills. No Annual Fee. No Hassle. You control what you spend with your personalised payment card.
At Greenstar, we know that some customers want more flexibility with their household bin collections. That’s why we’ve introduced our new Pay As You Go bin service. Once you sign up, we’ll send you a personalised Pay As You Go payment card which you use to keep your account in credit, just like a pre-pay mobile phone. The card can be topped up at any Post Office or retailer that displays the PostPoint or Payzone sign (for a minimum amount of €10) – see list below - or by calling Greenstar on LoCall 1890 500 800.
2. Bill Pay Service
With our Bill Pay option, you will be invoiced in arrears every quarter.

- A payment card, linked to your account with Greenstar
- FREE 240l Refuse and Recycling (Green) bin & optional Compost (Brown) bin

Weekly collection for refuse bin and fortnightly collection for Green and Brown bins.
- No annual charge for the service so you only pay for each refuse bin empty. i.e.
- 240 litre Refuse Bin: €6.40/lift.
- Green bin and Brown Bin are collected Free of Charge
- Bins & card supplied free of charge.

How do I get started?
- Register you interest and complete the sign up form.
- Within 5 working days of receipt of your application, you will receive your Payment Card Welcome Pack in the post.
- Your new bins will also be delivered within 5 working days.
- To activate your account, simply top up your Payment Card (for the minimum amount of €10) at any of the Post Offices or local shops that display the PostPoint or Payzone sign listed below. You can also top up your account by Credit or Debit card by calling Lo Call 1890 500 800 quoting your account number on the back of the Payment Card. Don't forget to keep your transaction receipt to claim your 20% tax relief.
- Once you have received your bins and your Payment Card is in credit, you can present them for collection immediately. You will receive a calendar in your Welcome pack informing you of your scheduled collection days and you can also avail of a FREE text message reminder the day before your scheduled collection. (To receive this FREE service, please ensure you tick the box on the Sign Up Form).
N.B. Please remember that your account must be in credit the day before your scheduled collection day to ensure collection.
