Greenstar’s environmental experience is further enhanced by the number of waste licences held.

Greenstar currently holds 15 EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) waste licences, which cover our waste transfer facilities, materials recovery facilities, and four landfill sites. Greenstar has also applied for licences in relation to a number of other sites across the country. In the case of each licensed operation, both facility management staff (on site) and staff from Greenstar’s Environmental Section (based at head office), correspond regularly with the EPA and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with requirements of the waste licence.
