Greenstar is now part of the “IBEC renewables
Working Group”, under the Chairmanship of Dermot O’Kane
(Airtricity) and Vice Chair, Brian Ryan (Hibernian Wind). The
group meets every quarter to express the views of the renewable
energy industry with regard to policy and support measures necessary
to attain EU Directives and Regulatory targets in achieving
diversification of the energy mix toward more sustainable and
renewable resources. Greenstar, as a developer of significant
bioenergy projects will be represented by Justin
Rutherford.
